SFOR1200

Forward path optical receiver

SFOR1200

At a network substation a common role is to realize optical-RF conversion in order to manipulate the spectrum (e.g. inserting a local program). SFOR1200 does this with predefined constant output level. Two units can be configured for handling two independent optical signals with the same modulation content and only one RF output, i.e. an optical AB switch for redundant work is reachable. All these features are available in the general COMTECH headend style with local management interface and RF testpoint on the frontal surface.

Frequency range up to 1.2 GHz
Electronic configuration interface on the frontal surface
Automatic gain control
Connection to the ComMon or the SNMP Monitoring System
Wavelength range: 1270...1610 nm
Redundancy option
